Martin is an experienced aerospace and defence executive with a broad range of experiences across aeronautical data communication, aerial imaging and data security.
Most recently, he was responsible for the Asian activities of Frequentis AG, a global leader of secure communications for governmental and institutional customers.
He joined the Thales Group from the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (Airbus EADS) and managed an extensive portfolio high profile aeronautical projects for the commercial and defence divisions of Airbus.
Martin graduated with a degree in mechanical and aeronautical engineering from the University of Hannover (Germany) and the Eidgenoessische Technische Hochschule (ETH) Zurich (Switzerland) in 1995 following his service with the German Air Force. He holds a current pilot’s licence and enjoys flying light aircraft.
