This course is designed to build upon the courses: Drone Security Fundamentals and Drone Security Regulations. If you require additional information about whether this course is right for you, feel free to contact us and one of our friendly staff will help you with any questions.
Becoming DroneSec certified means understanding the key attack and defence methodologies when approaching the drone industry. Practical and in-depth, this module focuses on security professionals being able to make tactical and strategic decisions both in the field and from an operations center.
Anyone finishing this course will be able to successfully navigate a drone security program for their organisation and perform security testing on drone, Counter-Drone and UTM systems.
Participants will get an in-depth practical understanding of the various digital concepts that apply to drone technologies. Students will be able to perform basic penetration tests, forensics, and undertake incident response activities for a variety of drone types. Finally, students will have a comprehensive understanding of the various technologies that exist for detecting and defeating malicious drones, and the strategies operators take to avoid detection and take-downs.
Students will walk away with the basic playbooks required to assess the effectiveness of their Counter-Drone controls and protect their assets and environments from rogue intruders.
A certificate of completion will be awarded for completing this module. For the DroneSec certification, an individual will need to complete all three modules.
Both in-person and online training. The in-person course is specific in time/date and location, and has a duration of one (1) day. The online course can be completed at your own time discretion.
We have significant experience in assessing Counter-Drone solutions, have taught thousands of people to hack into and secure drones, have a global drone threat-intelligence feed, and have utilised drone technology in a variety of Red Team engagements throughout APAC.
DroneSec consultants regularly engage with both the drone and security community via podcasts, conference talks, meetups, and we also sit on advisory panels at the forefront of technology and corresponding regulatory bodies.
